We are manufacturers of the "TALOS" range of under vehicle IED (bomb) detection equipment.
This equipment is in service around the world (14000 units sold to date); protecting vulnerable targets from under vehicle devices.
TALOS is installed in a vehicle and armed when the vehicle is secured.
Introduction of any magnetic attachment to the underside of the vehicle or tampering with doors, bonnet or boot will activate TALOS and a discrete local visual alarm will be triggered with the option of a GSM dialler sending an SMS alert to up to three addresses.
TALOS is GSA listed, has NATO stock code 5865-99-839-9261 and is the only IED detection device specified and deployed by UK Security Forces in Northern Ireland and mainland UK.
As part of our commitment to technological advancement, we are developing an enhanced variant of TALOS with the capability of recognising any foreign body introduced to the underside of a vehicle. A further projection of our involvement in soft detection technologies is our participation in the development of "HEARTBEAT", the only available second generation human presence detection option.
HEARTBEAT permits rapid inspection for human presence without entry; thus preserving the integrity of Security and Customs seals.
No harmful emissions are involved in the inspection process, enabling HEARTBEAT to be used as a precursor to inspection with ionising radiation or other incursive means.
HEARTBEAT can be used interactively to create an inspection record, referenced to container or vehicle ID, which can accompany the shipment in hard copy or be transmitted electronically to its destination
The equipment is in service with various border control organisations and operators of secure locations such as prisons and nuclear installations..
HEARTBEAT differs from first generation equipment in not requiring an interference free operating environment such as a purpose built compound or building.
